A Convenient Answer to an Inconvenient Truth
       Sites in North America

A “carbon footprint” is a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of green house gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.  One of the most effective ways to reduce your footprint is to decrease air travel.  Health care professionals contribute to global warming by traveling thousands of air miles to attend international conferences.  IHI offers the satellite as a convenient way to participate in the National Forum without the need for air travel.
